This photo shows the complete programmer, which comprises two boards a DT004 & a DT206. The DT206 is really the programmer and the DT004 is an interface and development platform for Simmstick target boards.

This photo shows the populated DT206 board. Note the components in the box in the top right hand corner are not needed for programming a X051, they are for another micro-controller.

Modifications

• Directly connect 0.1uF capacitors across the AT89CX051 and the 74HC174
• Ground pins 13 & 14 of the 74HC174
• Note 74LS174s generally don't work.

This photo shows the DT206 with a ZIF socket fitted.

Version 2.2 of the programmer software need for 4051s.
