Warp-13 Assembled and tested PICmicro Programmer:
Warp-13 PIC Programmer. A real PICSTART alternative includes 40-pin ZIF and
serial Cable. MPLAB compatible. Programs ALL PICs (except 17Cxx parts) Assembled
and tested, not a kit.

Here is a list of  PICmicro Programmer Kits you can purchase from Dontronics.

$25USD DIY Serial PIC Programmer.
This 8, 18, 28 & 40 pin PICmicro programmer Kit runs off the Parallel Printer Port of a PC and the price includes world wide postage. This will burn PIC12C508 chips and many, many others.

$22USD DIY Serial PIC Programmer.
This 8, and 18 pin PICmicro programmer Kit runs off the Parallel Printer Port of a PC and the price includes world wide postage.

These are fairly basic programmer kits. If you want to do some serious PICmicro development, then you should look at SimmStick and the DT001 Programmer. Also, have a look at Newbies, and FAQ.

None of these kits are suitable for first time kit builders. They are all kits, not assembled units. The DT001 requires a very good level of kit building experience, so don't purchase this unless you are getting into PICmicro programming in a big way.

If you wish to use these kits to burn a 508 chip, you will need the registration key listed below. If you are burning the 18 pin F84 chip, then the software works without restriction.

You can Register P16PRO PICmicro software at Dontronics on-line , using our web based secure Credit Card system. This software will allow you to use most David Tait variant programmers to program a very large number of PICmicro devices via the Parallel Printer Port of a PC. Follow the registration link to read the full story.

Another kit we have that doesn't require software registration, and will burn the full 12 and 16 family of PICmicros is the PICALL Programmer at $85USD.
